Literal Sense- Oliver was born into a world unfit for him. his mother died soon after placing a kiss on his forehead. His place in this world was determined on the status of his family, but nobody knew where to place him because day before his mother was found on the street with no wedding ring, meaning she was an unwed mother. Oliver was the sent to a juvenile home. This place was so awful to him. They starved the kids that was sent there. The money that was for the kids they pocketed for their on selfish reasoning. On Oliver ninth birthday he was then sent away to the workhouse. Oliver was then sent by one of the boys from the house to get more food. as punishment he was locked away in a dark room. The work house then wanted to send poor Oliver off, but he was taken as a apprentice to the parish undertaker to Mr.Sowerberry.
Emotional Triggers & Intellectual Curiosity- How could someone be so mean to a poor child? Why would you slowly starve someone? I feel so bad for the kids at the workhouse. They have to suffer though so much. I feel that someone should have tooken better care of these porr kids. It doesn't matter if your rich or poor. They deserve the same treatment as any other rich kid. They was giving money for the kids, that money should have been spent on the kids. When reading this story I think about now. Now the same thing is happening. Kids are starving and not many people are trying to help.

Do you really think back in those days people actually cared about the poor? Many kids are still suffering everyday, what are you doing to right those wrongs?
Do having parents make happiness? You're parents could bring saddness into you're life.
This is great Kia--exactly what I'm looking for. Keep up the great work!
